DIY Flower Crowns

This easy flower crown tutorial was documented when myself and some very willing to help friends of mine got together to make about 30 of them for my sisters baby shower (boho shower post here).

This is what you will need.. scissors to cut sprigs of flowers, babies breath, wire cutters, wire and flower tape from your local Micheals.

Start on one side of the wire as far down as you choose.Hold the snipped piece of flower alongside the wire and start wrapping the flower tape around it until it feels secure.

Keep placing sprigs of flowers on top of the last, slowly making your way down the wire while wrapping the tape as you go.

It makes it easier if you cut lots of little flower sprigs so they are ready to wrap.Place the flowers closer together for a fuller look or further apart for a lesser look.

Done! I didn't go all the way to the ends but you totally could for a fuller continues look.

Good Luck and Happy Crown Making!

Wedding Season

I was able to be apart of a wedding styled shoot last month and its got me thinking..

Styling someone's hair for a special occasion is seriously one of the best parts of my job!  Whether it's for a wedding, prom, night out with the hubby, a styled photo shoot, you name it. I feel so lucky to be apart of such special days in peoples lives!
The atmosphere is always buzzing with excitement and joy.

On this day in particular Erin and I had such a great time (as we always do) styling the lovely Danielle.
